In June 2002, a mutual love of the Lord, and a love of old-tyme music brought four men together to form the singing group BRAZOSGRASS. In the short time since then, the group has built a following with their high energy "picking and grinning." They have been described as "Grand Ole Opry merging with Southern Gospel". While they primarily play for churches and church functions, they have also performed for gatherings such as festivals, fairs, oprys, private parties and banquets.
Their name comes from joining "Brazos", the river that runs through their home base of Waco, with Bluegrass.
