Butch Doss - Dobro and Harmonica

Backin' Up and Fillin' In

Butch plays Dobro and Harmonica for the band. He and his wife Shirley have 2 boys, Benny and Bubba, and four grandchildren, Nathan, Scotti, Maci, and Hanna. Butch plays a hand-made dobro by Frank D. Harlow of Vadalia, Ohio and Horner "Special 20's" Harmonicas. His musical mentors include his father, "Texas" Benny Doss and Lonnie Glosson "The Talking Harmonica Man". He also plays Lonnie's G-70M Gallagher flattop guitar. A retired Waco Firefigher, with 33 years of service, Butch owns Doss Sales Company which provides promotional products for the Great Southwest.
